Staplespun Rope has the appearance and construction of old traditional natural ropes but with the strength, abrasion and wear resistance of synthetic materials. The polypropylene fibres are spun into yarns before being twisted into the finished 3-strand rope. This gives a soft but hairy finish which is strong and easy to handle or grip when wet or dry. It is also a light weight rope and easy to splice (which we can do for you if you prefer – see our Rope End Finishes category)
This white spun staple rope is superior to standard polypropylene rope, floats in water, is resistant to rotting and is strong and flexible. This makes it ideally suitable for use as a mooring rope, for towing, with gin wheels as a scaffolders rope, in marquees, big tops and tents.
Made in Europe by an ISO 9002 certified manufacturer for a superior, high quality rope from Ropes Direct.
