Delivery and Shipping

We operate a very quick turnaround, from the moment you place an order to getting it on board a fast and reliable courier service. They deliver direct to your home or workplace.

NEXT WORKING DAY: Customers in mainland UK (excluding Islands and Scottish Highlands) will usually enjoy next working day delivery on orders placed before midday. When it is really busy the delivery timescale might be 1-2 working days. For heavy items
(over 30kg) the delivery can take a little longer.

COLLECT FROM WAREHOUSE. Order online, choose the collect delivery option and we will email you when ready. Usually within 24 hours.

Returns

Returns are by prior agreement

  • Please email us in the first instance with your details and the product you wish to return.
     
  • We can only consider items that have been sold within the last 30 days and in perfect (re-saleable) condition.
     
  • We regret we cannot accept items that were cut to length (sold by the metre) or were modified (custom-made), for example a splice.
     
  • Upon safe receipt at our premises and inspection for condition, a refund will be made for the purchase price of the individual item less a 15% re-stocking fee. (If ordering a replacement product we usually waive the re-stocking fee).
     
  • Delivery charges will not be refunded.

Introduce a new element of fun to playtime with our Children’s Knotted Climbing Rope.

This is a fantastic addition for existing climbing frames, treehouses and other outdoor play equipment, or it can simply be attached to the branch of a tree in your garden. Either way, it will give the play area a new lease of life and is guaranteed to provide hours of entertainment.

For domestic use and suitable for up to 70kg.

Designed with safety in mind, our Knotted Climbing Rope boasts a range of useful features.

For example:

- it is made from extra-thick (26mm) Beige Poly Rope. Polypropylene Rope has excellent strength and durability, making it perfect for prolonged outdoor use, whilst also being smooth, soft-to-touch and comfortable enough for children’s play.

- it is fitted with black plastic welds, to prevent fraying and unravelling.

- it comes fitted with a galvanised steel ring. This allows it to be installed safely and securely onto your children’s play apparatus.

- it has three sturdy knots. These are spaced approximately 500mm apart, making it ideal (and challenging enough) for children of all ages.

Measuring 1.95m long, our knotted climbing rope is suitable for frame heights up to 2.55m. However we stock a range of Extension Ropes, and additional Synthetic Hemp Rope can be bought by the metre – therefore, if you wish, it is possible to extend the size of the climbing rope further. To attach the rope to your climbing frame or tree, we also have a selection of Metal Fittings for you to choose from.

We also sell a ready-made climbing rope without knots.

Good quality

The knotted climbing rope is a very good quality, thick rope and not too scratchy. We have hung it from a thick tree branch with the extension rope 1.2m which works well. The kids had lots of friends round and had a great time climbing and swinging on it. It is possible to adjust the heights of the knots which we needed to do when first putting it up so they could climb on at the right height. Very pleased.

First class experience from start to finish! One weekend I had a little project in my mind's eye for my garden with posts, solar lights and ropes, but I know nothing about ropes. I did a bit of research and found the Ropes Direct website clear and helpful, however I baulked a bit about cutting the rope and adding hooks myself (the video showed the use of a blowtorch). I sent an online query and less than 20 minutes after opening for business on the Monday I had a detailed quote, and an offer to cut the rope and fit the hooks for a very reasonable charge. I also received valuable advice about the "drape" I required. Within 24 hours the ropes, hooks and eyes were delivered! Very impressed with the website, quality of product and particularly the customer service from start to finish. I have no hesitation about recommending Ropes Direct.
