We sell a lot of boat rope - from rigging and mooring to crab pot lines! So we were delighted when customer Ann Louise kindly sent us some shots of how she is using our 24mm Polysilk rope on her beautiful barge in London.

Polysilk is made from synthetic fibres - multifilament polypropylene - so it's strong, tough and will withstand weather really well. And yet it is really soft to handle and looks classy on the boat. Our polysilk stretches very little and is often used for rope barriers, queueing / access control, stair bannisters etc. It's easy to splice and takes knots well. So these qualities make it suit the purpose in the pictures above! Find out more about our
