8-Strand Eye Splice

An eye splice is the strongest way of introducing an eye into an 8-strand rope and will only reduce the strength by around 10% (a knot on the other hand will reduce it significantly).

Both soft eyes and hard eyes with stainless steel thimble are available.

The cost of a splice takes into account the extra rope required, so for a rope and eye splice with a finished length 4m you only need to order 4m.
