We love the clever ways of using our synthetic hemp rope that our customers send in to show us. Leeds Girl Guiding built this stage, and used our 14mm Synthetic Hemp Rope to weave the back. And hey presto, a really attractive and functional outside space. The braided rope backing means you can see through and past the stage, so the view feels 'infinite'. All in all, very clever indeed.
It took just under 50 metres of our
(at the time of writing it was only £1.62/metre so a very low cost way of producing a great result). The joy of synthetic hemp rope is that it is so versatile. It's soft to handle and very flexible. It will knot, braid and be twisted every which way you want. And because it is synthetic (a man-made fibre) it will last very long outside. It can withstand sunlight and harsh weather for many years.
