PolyHemp Rope

Polyhemp Rope offers the classic appearance of traditional hemp rope, combined with all the practical advantages of modern synthetic fibres.

Made from spun polypropylene, Polyhemp has a soft feel and rustic character without any of the drawbacks of natural ropes. It won't rot, swell or shrink when wet, floats on water, is UV resistant and is kinder on the hands than natural fibre rope.

Strong, durable and weatherproof, it's an excellent choice for both indoor and outdoor applications.

Ideal for decking, rope barriers, garden landscaping, handrails, play equipment, decorative features, agricultural use and marine environments, Polyhemp is a versatile rope that looks great while standing up to the elements.

Available in a wide range of diameters and lengths

You can choose Polyhemp rope:

• by the metre, cut to your required length
• on convenient reels for regular use
• in bulk coils for larger projects

Whether you're creating a decorative rope fence, replacing handrail rope or tackling a large landscaping project, there's a Polyhemp rope to suit your needs.

Why choose Polyhemp rope?

Polyhemp combines traditional looks with modern performance. It remains flexible, easy to knot and splice, and retains its attractive natural appearance for years.

Its excellent resistance to UV, moisture, mould and mildew makes it particularly popular for permanent outdoor installations including decking, garden borders, queue barriers, public spaces and playgrounds.

Polyhemp or Synthetic Hemp – what's the difference?

Polyhemp is our value range, Synthetic Hemp rope is our premium range.

Both ropes are manufactured from spun polypropylene and offer the same traditional hemp appearance with outstanding weather resistance.

The main difference is the manufacturer. Our Polyhemp range is sourced from a different supplier, allowing us to offer an excellent-quality product at a lower price.
