We operate a very quick turnaround, from the moment you place an order to getting it on board a fast and reliable courier service. They deliver direct to your home or workplace.
NEXT WORKING DAY: Customers in mainland UK (excluding Islands and Scottish Highlands) will usually enjoy next working day delivery on orders placed before midday. When it is really busy the delivery timescale might be 1-2 working days. For heavy items
(over 30kg) the delivery can take a little longer.
COLLECT FROM WAREHOUSE. Order online, choose the collect delivery option and we will email you when ready. Usually within 24 hours.

Returns are by prior agreement
- Please email us in the first instance with your details and the product you wish to return.
- We can only consider items that have been sold within the last 30 days and in perfect (re-saleable) condition.
- We regret we cannot accept items that were cut to length (sold by the metre) or were modified (custom-made), for example a splice.
- Upon safe receipt at our premises and inspection for condition, a refund will be made for the purchase price of the individual item less a 15% re-stocking fee. (If ordering a replacement product we usually waive the re-stocking fee).
- Delivery charges will not be refunded.

5mm Evolution 3-strand pre-stretched Polyester Rope by Kingfisher – sold by the metre
Manufactured from high-quality polyester and specially processed to reduce stretch under load, this rope offers excellent strength, stability and handling characteristics. A popular choice for sailing and forestry.
The classic 3-strand construction is renowned for its durability, ease of handling and straightforward splicing, making it particularly well suited to dinghies, yachts and a wide range of general light industrial applications. With a minimum breaking load of 280kg, this rope provides dependable performance for both recreational and working environments.
The standard finish for this rope is to heat-seal both ends. If you would like to have them whipped, soft spliced or hard spliced please visit our rope end finishes category. We also sell this rope at a discount on reels.
Why choose Polyester over Nylon?
People say if Polyester had been invented first, no-one would have bothered to make Nylon! It shares many characteristics with nylon rope, including excellent durability and resistance to wear, but it has significantly lower stretch.
It also offers outstanding resistance to UV sunlight and abrasion, maintains its strength whether wet or dry, and does not shrink when exposed to moisture.
