Red 4mm Cotton Rope – 25m hank

Our 4mm Cotton Rope is soft, flexible and a pleasure to use.

The raw cotton is, of course, 100% natural. It comes from a managed harvest and the yarn is then coloured with a non-toxic dye before manufacture.

This might be the right colour for your project, but we also sell this rope in 12 different colours plus natural (undyed).

Cotton is not the strongest rope, but its other qualities make it invaluable in many other ways. Thanks to its soft, flexible and lightweight construction, it is excellent to handle and tie knots with. So it lends itself well to a range of ‘light load’ indoor applications and decorative and handicraft projects.

Easy to use

This rope is beautifully soft and flexible, so remember the thickness will easily be changed by pulling taught or flattening – it is natural cotton after all.

If you want to draw it through some fabric, for example, you will want to ensure the end is well secured with tape or wraps of cotton to prevent fraying, and pull rather than push!
