Having discovered Ropes Direct from an online search and social media, it was a real pleasure working with their wonderful staff to achieve the vision to complete our new decking rails.

The website provides detailed information and advice, so we decided to order the 32mm synthetic hemp rope and 32mm matt black rope end cups/plates.

We sent an email with our initial measurements and quickly received a phone call to talk us through how we could more accurately re-measure and calculate the swag we wished to achieve. We were also delighted to learn that Ropes Direct could fit the rope ends for us, for a very reasonable charge, so all that we would be required to do was to screw the fittings into the posts.
After placing our order we promptly received confirmation and our invoice. We then received an email 4 days later, advising that our order was on its way and provided tracking information.
We received our order promptly and found the items to be well packaged and each rope clearly labelled. We were impressed with the quality of the items received, which looked as pictured on the website, but still exceeded expectation.
We are thrilled with the finished results and are happy to share our experience and photographs of our rope barrier in situ.

What a bargain

First class experience from start to finish! One weekend I had a little project in my mind's eye for my garden with posts, solar lights and ropes, but I know nothing about ropes. I did a bit of research and found the Ropes Direct website clear and helpful, however I baulked a bit about cutting the rope and adding hooks myself (the video showed the use of a blowtorch). I sent an online query and less than 20 minutes after opening for business on the Monday I had a detailed quote, and an offer to cut the rope and fit the hooks for a very reasonable charge. I also received valuable advice about the "drape" I required. Within 24 hours the ropes, hooks and eyes were delivered! Very impressed with the website, quality of product and particularly the customer service from start to finish. I have no hesitation about recommending Ropes Direct.
