Delivery and Shipping

We operate a very quick turnaround, from the moment you place an order to getting it on board a fast and reliable courier service. They deliver direct to your home or workplace.

NEXT WORKING DAY: Customers in mainland UK (excluding Islands and Scottish Highlands) will usually enjoy next working day delivery on orders placed before midday. When it is really busy the delivery timescale might be 1-2 working days. For heavy items
(over 30kg) the delivery can take a little longer.

COLLECT FROM WAREHOUSE. Order online, choose the collect delivery option and we will email you when ready. Usually within 24 hours.

Returns

Returns are by prior agreement

  • Please email us in the first instance with your details and the product you wish to return.
     
  • We can only consider items that have been sold within the last 30 days and in perfect (re-saleable) condition.
     
  • We regret we cannot accept items that were cut to length (sold by the metre) or were modified (custom-made), for example a splice.
     
  • Upon safe receipt at our premises and inspection for condition, a refund will be made for the purchase price of the individual item less a 15% re-stocking fee. (If ordering a replacement product we usually waive the re-stocking fee).
     
  • Delivery charges will not be refunded.

10mm Mottled Red SuperBraid rope on a 100m reel.

SuperBraid is a high-performance upgrade to traditional braid on braid polyester, combining a durable polyester outer with a powerful high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) core. This advanced construction delivers significantly higher strength and extremely low stretch, while maintaining the familiar handling and abrasion resistance of polyester rope. The result is a lightweight, easy-to-use rope designed for demanding, load-critical applications where standard polyester reaches its limits.

Why Choose SuperBraid instead of Double Braid Polyester or Dyneema Cruise?

Compared to standard braid on braid polyester, SuperBraid offers a significantly higher strength-to-weight ratio and far lower stretch under load, making it more efficient and responsive in applications such as winching, rigging, halyards and load restraint where strength and low stretch are critical.

SuperBraid and Dyneema Cruise ropes are both made with an HMPE core and a braided polyester outer. Dyneema is the original HMPE rope, but SuperBraid offers greater strength and better value than the branded version.

First class experience from start to finish! One weekend I had a little project in my mind's eye for my garden with posts, solar lights and ropes, but I know nothing about ropes. I did a bit of research and found the Ropes Direct website clear and helpful, however I baulked a bit about cutting the rope and adding hooks myself (the video showed the use of a blowtorch). I sent an online query and less than 20 minutes after opening for business on the Monday I had a detailed quote, and an offer to cut the rope and fit the hooks for a very reasonable charge. I also received valuable advice about the "drape" I required. Within 24 hours the ropes, hooks and eyes were delivered!
