Quality rope without the tendency to twist like to polypropelene rope.

Good quality rope

I have generally used polypropylene rope for drawing through ducts but it can twist and I find it has more friction going through elbows and bends. I tried this HDPE rope and find it resistant to twisting and most certainly lower in friction through bends. The last job I used 50mm solvent weld waste pipe as conduit and the pull around the multiple bends was superior even when the bore was pretty full of cables. Also makes a fine washing line for the wife.

Good draw rope.

Used to replace an existing 6mm rope, this twisted during a long pull (350m) snarling up the cables.
This braided rope prevents the problem.
Thanks to a previous review I bought on a wooden drum.
Good product and delivery.

Update my latest order was supplied on a wooden drum

Lastest order supplied on a wooden drum which made a world of difference. If they keep supplying them on a wooden drum that's a huge improvement.

Rope is decent quality, the drum it's supplied on useless.

The rope is decent enough quality for what we need, we are pulling fibre underground through ducts up to about 140m apart. The rope has faired well so far being both hand pulled and pulled by capstan winch. The cardboard drum however on both we have purchased has fallen apart the same day we have started using the rope and is not fit for purpose. I recommend immediately winding this on to a more suitable drum or other method of storage asap. For the money the rope is good but there needs to be an option of a wooden drum. Once the cardboard drum falls apart you end up with a birdsnest if rope which takes hours to untangle.
