More about our Leaded Polysteel ropes
Leaded Polysteel is tough, durable, hardwearing and is ideal for use as a crab rope, a pot rope and for commercial fishing. It is manufactured for us in Europe in an ISO 9002 certified factory from high-tenacity Polysteel yarns and is about 30% stronger than standard Polypropylene Ropes.
These are 3-strand, firm-lay ropes with lead inserted into the middle of one or two of the strands.
Leaded Polysteel ropes do not necessarily sink. Polyester Rope will sink immediately, so it is another choice for an outhaul mooring rope and is also softer to handle.
