When it comes to yacht ropes, braid on braid – also known as double braid - is a great choice. Consisting of a low-stretch braided polyester core, combined with an abrasion-resistant braided polyester cover, our range of Kingfisher braided ropes are strong and durable. Heat set under load, the stretch is reduced, making braid-on-braid the ideal choice for sheets, control lines and halyards as well as a wide range of general-purpose applications. Yet being hardwearing and ensuring minimal stretch aren’t the only compelling features - braid on braid is also comfortable to grip and can be spliced.   And we have a fantastic range ofbraid-on-braid/ double braid polyester to choose from – diameters from 6mm to 14mm thick and in a variety of colours to suit your boat and taste.
