What lengths of stainless steel chain are available?

All our stainless steel chains are sold by the metre and can be cut to any length you require.

Simply enter your measurements (in metres) into the quantity box provided and we’ll send your chain to you as one continuous length.

If you want the flexibility of shorter lengths that can be joined together, don’t forget to add links and hooks to your order. 

Are stainless steel chain fittings and accessorises available?

What’s the difference between long link and short link chain?

Essentially, not a lot! Both are made from stainless steel and are exceptionally strong and durable. The key difference is what they are used for.

Long link stainless steel chains are usually favoured for mooring and anchoring systems, as the longer link length makes it easier to add connections and hooks and also allows for greater flexibility and movement.

Short links tend to be heavier but offer more reliable link dimensions - so are well-suited for use with a winch.
