Brass fittings for all rope-based projects

Give your decking ropes, bannisters or handrails a classy finish with our solid brass fittings.

Each type of fitting comes in six exterior finishes, to suit all designs and tastes - polished
brass, antique brass, black nickel, matt black, glossy chrome and satin chrome.

Use them to attach your rope to walls and posts, or to cap the ends in keeping with your brackets and hooks. They can be used indoors or outside – because brass does not rust – and they’re really easy to fit.

All are incredibly sturdy, made to a high standard, and will enhance the appearance of your rope, keep it securely in place and help to extend its lifespan.

Here’s what to choose from:

• rope end cups – use these to fix the end of the rope directly to a wall or post.
• brackets – pass the rope through a matching bracket at regular intervals to keep it well supported
• eye plates – fix to a wall or post then attach your rope using a matching brass hook – like you see in stately homes and theatres!
• hooks – open hooks or trigger hooks fitted to the end of a rope and hooked on to an eye plate
• rope cap ends – fit these to the end of a rope which hangs loose, giving it a high-end finish, rather than an open rope end

All our brass handrail and bannister fittings can be used with ropes measuring 24-36mm in diameter. Where required they come with a screw to pass through the rope to keep them securely together, and also the screws to fit to a wall or post.

They can be used with both synthetic and natural ropes and look the part for many different indoor and outdoor projects. 

A classy brassy solution

Primarily, our brass rope fittings are used with bannister and handrail ropes. But they can be easily attached to any wooden object (or similar) and are often used for stair rope, crowd control rope, newel posts and
more.

We have a great video which shows you how to fit them yourself. But if you’re not confident with DIY we are able to fit them in our warehouse for an additional charge.

Altogether they offer a cost-effective and reliable way to secure your rope in place – with an added touch of style!
