Brilliant Service
I contacted Ropes Direct in late December looking for a very simple piece of natural rope, knotted at both ends, for a present for my dog ! After a call to discuss the merits of the various options, I ordered 2 x 24mm sisal ropes and received them next day. A brilliant service, my dog is busy with these all the time (helps to keep him entertained & keeps his teeth clean), very reasonable price too. Thanks – and I'll definitely be using you again.

Excellent old-fashioned service
Making some stair ropes to replace the failing ones that had been in place for 40+ years (equine lead ropes!) Working to a budget and more interested in function than form for an old farmhouse. Ordered 16mm cotton rope with soft spliced ends and carbines. Received a phone call after placing order online suggesting that 10mm carbines might be more appropriate than the 8mm ones ordered – Could they replace at no extra cost? Order arrived promptly and 10mm carbines indeed perfect for size of rope. End result actually looks very good for the price and perfectly practical. Will use again for another staircase.

I purchased 22 mts of 32mm Synthetic Hemp together with 10 x Black Powder Coated Rings. I originally telephoned for advice and during the conversation, with a very pleasant and helpful chap I obtained the information I required PLUS it was explained to me how I might save money on my original installation plans.
