Excellent product and top class service – very pleased
I needed new ropes for use on my Land Rover capstan winches and I’m pleased to say that this product fits the bill perfectly . It looks like hemp rope so is in keeping with the age of the land rovers and is easy to splice and use. For the later capstan winches I would suggest the 22mm rope but for my use ( around the farm general winching ) the 28 mm is ideal for me.

The service from RopesDirect exceeded expectation. I ordered via the Internet (great website, very easy to use) and my goods arrived the next day. Realising I’d ordered the wrong size of hook (my inexperience), I called to re-order a bigger size for delivery to a more rural address with a tight deadline. The staff could not have been more helpful and the correct size hook arrived the next day. It’s wonderful when there is a kind and courteous human being behind a website.

Have bought a number of ropes from Ropes Direct and they have always been great quality and delivered on time. We have used the multicord for whipping the end of our large ropes on our low ropes course and it has done a great job and adds a splash of colour too.
