Following an engine breakdown and having to hastily organise a selection of ropes into a suitable tow line to link to a friends RIB thought it best to order a rig that could be deployed promptly in the future. Discussed my ideas with Russell, placed an order on Monday and received Tuesday afternoon the next day !!!! The 14mm Polysteel rope and all splicing is spot on at an economical price.

The rope is just great, but I wanted to compliment the company for their customer service. Unlike most online companies, Ropes Direct actually have a phone number to use and a human at the other end who knows what he’s talking about !
The chap I spoke to was in the warehouse and he spent nearly 10 minutes talking through the project I was planning… he was patient and clear in his advice. My Rum Shack seating is now 4 amazing swings!!

Great service
This is my second purchase from Ropes Direct. I can always find the rope I need on their site. I bought this for my move to a swinging mooring where the line to the buoy needs to float and of course have good UV resistant properties. This Polysteel rope promises to do the job as it has good claimed minimum breaking load and UV resistance. Time will tell, but for the price I don’t think I could do better!
