RopesDirect are great, I have bought several ropes for a range of practical (building etc) and fun (boats on the beech and tree houses etc) family activities, The rope quality and delivery is perfect, exactly what they say, they have range of finishing options and when they have a query they ring you up in a straight forward polite manner and check what you need, For reference I never give customer feedback and am generally tired of it being auto requested from every dubious company but Ropes Direct deserves the support. God I wish every company operated like this rather than some of the terrible online outfits. A good straight forward British business that does what it says it will. Great! Thank you.
Excellent service
I was introduced to Ropes Direct on a coil pot making course with Molly Brown Emporium as a recommended supplier. The rope is of good quality, smooth and easy to work with. Following the workshop I ordered 250m reel of 4.5mm cotton rope. Arrived very quickly and No doubt I will be trying other Ropes Direct products in due course.

Absolutely perfect. The delivery time was much better than I expected. But regardless the rope itself is lovely. It’s sturdy and really sets of my garden. I have two tiers of buff Indian Sandstone slabs with railway sleepers for the borders and a retaining wall, and I really liked the idea of rope fencing. I did a lot of online searching but Ropes Direct were by far the better price, and they even cut the rope to a specific size for my (requested in comments box) I’m so pleased with finished look and polish brass fittings are just a treat to look at. Would definitely recommend Ropes Direct.
